A + M
This all started with my wife Clara having the idea of planning our own styled shoot after I attended one that was not organized incredibly well. We thought why not plan our own and see if anyone would want to collaborate with us. And so began the endless online searches and Instagram messages that brought everyone together. All the vendors who contributed to this project were phenomenal to work with. Our beautiful couple A + M are a real married couple who are good friends of my wife and I. They were excited to live the day as if it was their second wedding, and we were excited to capture their authentic emotions throughout the whole experience.
The Vintage Ranch Cottage, a local Airbnb, was kind enough to host our styled shoot and it was a beautiful piece of property to explore. We had access to walk through the vineyards down a path that led to a massive oak tree, which was the perfect romantic spot for A + M to end the shoot just before sunset. Winter in Paso Robles was absolutely beautiful.
Grace from Fifth Grace Stationery did an incredible job on the stationery for our flat lay. She was great to work with and thought of every detail. Tania's work on M's hair and makeup was stunning, and it perfectly encapsulated the more natural look we were going for. Tania also created her own floral hair vine which she added as a the perfect bridal hair accessory to complete the look. The bouquet was created by Sunny at The Floral Parlor in Paso Robles, and her expertise created the exact bohemian (boho) look and color scheme we had in our mood board. The long sleeve lace wedding dress was the perfect match for the theme and our model. Incredibly thankful to Adina's Bridal in Los Angeles, CA for contributing this beautiful dress and veil. Mercedes from Wendy White's Bakery in Atascadero is incredibly talented with her cake design and flavoring. This small red velvet cake topped with berries was amazing inside and out. Lastly, a local rental company in Paso Robles, All About Events, had everything we needed for the cake table. We bought the cake stand from Target, but their company's inventory was able to fill in all the gaps.
