A + S


It was intimate wedding day with their closest family and friends. A + S began their forever with a civil ceremony at the Laguna Hills Civic Center and then celebrated with a reception dinner at Habana, a local restaurant.


A wedding doesn't have to be a production to be meaningful, and A + S truly enjoyed the slow, easygoing pace of the day. It allowed them to focus on each other and the excitement of being newly married. And as their photographer, I had the privilege of slowing down with them as we took our time exploring the civic center to get couples shots. Family wasn't rushed for portraits, guests weren't waiting for us at cocktail hour... there was nothing urgent. It was just me behind the camera following A + S while getting to know more about their story and them as individuals.
